Crossover-Metal

Seit zehn Jahren rammen 784itch fiese Riffs in unsere Gurgeln und prügeln uns mit monströsen Beats, begleitet von durchdachten Texten. Doch nirgends geht es ab wie an adrenalingetränkten Liveshows der Luzerner Combo, welche ihr neues Album Waterproof (2006, QLR) ab heute Abend vorstellt.
Das Video zu “Foolin’ The Crowd” findet sich nicht bloss als Bonus auf der CD sondern auch auf YouTube .

1) Secondhand Child album release

Past Friday, Secondhand Child from Basel were featured in the free newspaper 20 Minuten as they celebrated the release of their new album, What Do You Live For?, out now on Quam Libet Records / Non Stop Music. The album was recorded at Little Creek Studio, produced and mastered by V.O. Pulver and Frank Winkelmann.

2) Tempesta song in a snowboard film

Swiss DOOM News

Ladies and gentlemen,

Do you know what Quam Libet Records “bosses” Matt Brand and Jan Thomas do whenever they’re not releasing great bands's great albums?

We release our own:

Pÿlon – Th’ Eternal Wedding Band

new DOOM album out now on QLR / Non Stop Music.

Of course, this is a very special baby for us as those know who follow the doomed diary on Pÿlon’s home page: 2 1/2 years have passed since the first album … two and a half BUSY years, that is, in which much of our time was devoted to Quam Libet Records.
This is why we are very happy – and even a little bit proud – that Th’ Eternal Wedding Band finally made it (and some of the freaks among you might even enjoy it).
But doom takes its time ….

Pÿlon – Th’ Eternal Wedding Band is available at the Swiss Metal Mailorder and will be distributed by Non Stop Music in Switzerland and various other distros around the globe.

No album release party is scheduled yet - but if any band out there would like us to be their support act in October / November, … well, we might just celebrate together!

1) HEAVY METAL NATION III is out!

What happens when 85 Swiss musicians play at the same time? – A wild cacophony ensues.

But what happens when 19 groups are formed and Matt of Quam Libet Records single-handedly compiles them on one CD with a running time of 74 minutes? – You get Metal! Or, to be more precise: you get HEAVY METAL NATION III .

As you know, we used to put all reviews of our releases online, but in the case of Mabon and Tempesta, we simply couldn’t keep up! So many great reviews came in … because their CDs are absolutely stunning and sweep not only the journalists off their feet.

Make sure that you get Mabon’s “Eye For An Eye ” EP and Tempesta’s second full album, “Fulltime Joker – Fill The Voids ” and go to see both bands in concert.
You won’t get much closer to professional live bands touring Switzerland these days!
