Jetzt wird's LAUT! Die über zehnjährige Karriere von EX-ORTATION erreicht mit ihrem vierten Album BULLETPROOF (Quam Libet Records / K-tel) ihren explosiven Höhepunkt! Aufgrund ihrer vielbeachteten Erfolgszüge durch die Gefilde des jeweils brandaktuellen Death-, Thrash- und Nu Metal erarbeiteten sich die Zürcher mit ihren bisherigen Alben (bis in den früheren Ostblock) eine treue und wachsende Gefolgschaft, welche sie mit einem regen Tourplan und schweisstreibenden Liveshows an sich binden konnten. Whatever EX-ORTATION touch at turns gold as they have a knack for the most attractive and aggressive sounds of the day, whichever they may be: starting off with death metal (which got them a deal and a first album with SPV in ’94), and then tearing through nu and thrash metal – Zurich’s very own managed to keep a stout group of followers as far as eastern Europe thanks to their demanding and sweat- dripping gigs where the people are. For more than a year, metalheads had been waiting for EX-ORTATION’s 4th album, BULLETPROOF, now released loudly and proudly through Quam Libet Records and K-tel (Switzerland). Wir schrieben das Jahr 1992, als eine Metalband namens EX-ORTATION das Licht der Welt erblickte. 1994 wurde dann auch gehörmässig das erste Demo Tape "Nightmare Of War" der Menschheit zugeführt. Nach diversen Gigs erschien 1995 das Debut-Album "The Last Trial", welches europaweit durch SPV vertrieben wurde und sich 2500 mal verkaufte. Dadurch ergaben sich diverse Konzerte mit bekannten Bands wie: Death, Nevermore, Benediction, Overkill, Mortification, u.s.w. Die darauffolgenden Jahre wurde es ziehmlich ruhig um die Band. Man war dabei, musikalisch neue Wege einzuschlagen. Eines war klar: der Name EX-ORTATION durfte nicht sterben! Als dann 1999 der zweite Longplayer namens "Contact" erschien, zeichnete sich schnell ab, dass dies der Beginn einer neuen Ära war. Ein Jahr später erschien mit "Orbit" das dritte Album. Maple Leaf Records, Deutschland, sorgte dafür, dass diese Scheibe ihren Weg in die Läden fand. Live konnten EX-ORTATION ihren neu gewonnenen Fans mächtig "den Arsch versohlen"....Das Feedback auf EX-ORTATION wurde immer besser. Und nun steht mit "Bulletproof" die neuste Scheibe am Start.			The year was 1992 when a metal band named EX-ORTATION first came into existence. In 1994, humankind was to experience the power of the first demo onslaught of "Nightmare Of War". A couple of gigs under the belt, 1995 saw SPV distribute the debut album “The Last Trial” throughout Europe with 2’500 copies sold. This opened the gates to concerts with bands such as Death, Nevermore, Benediction, Overkill, Mortification etc. Then, for a few years, things started to calm down as new sounds and styles imposed themselves on the band with only one thing being given: the name EX-ORTATION must not die! As the second album, "Contact", was released in 1999, a new era dawned. One year later, "Orbit", the third album was distributed by Maple Leaf Records (GER). And EX-ORTATION kicked ass live … the reactions of the audiences turned more and more frenetic. And so now here’s "Bulletproof" ….
