Past festivals: Dawn Of Doom 2 14. & 15.11.08 - Ziegelei, Einsiedeln (SZ)  Metal Inferno V Once more, Metal Inferno in Lenzburg was worth any journey: THRESHOLD, Triosphere, Kharma, Polution and battle winner Angry Bastard delivered the goods well and excellently. We are proud, in particular, to support "our" new discovery, Angry Bastard , by now stocking their first EP, Night On Fire, in our Metal Mailorder store! Also available now: the debut album by Sin Starlett, Call To The Punisher: old-school metal!   True As Steel This year's True As Steel Festival 08 was excellent again and profitted greatly from it's new location at the Gaswerk, Winterthur, where we set up shop for the second time. Martin and his team did an outstanding job in selecting the bands, setting up the perfect stage for the event and being absolutely on time throughout the evening. - Thank you very much for letting us be part of this!  |

| Secondhand Child did it! The music video of their song Going Postal is included on the newly-released DVD Postal (Director's Cut). The band had cut the video from the movie footage and had more than 14, 000 views on YouTube so far. That must've made it an easy choice for the director, Uwe Boll, to add the music video as a bonus feature on the DVD! Going Postal on YouTube. |  |

We're getting ready for the True As Steel Festival. 11.10.08 - Gaswerk Winterthur w/ Stormwarrior, Gun Barrel, Battalion, Emerald, Van Canto, Endoras Three of the bands, Battalion, Emerald and Endoras had been featured on our HEAVY METAL NATION CDs already. Back To Rock Festival  |
| QLR took its CD booth to the Back To Rock festival site. It was great! Very well organised, kind people, highly interesting bands (discovered for you: Nihilo !) and a thoroughly serene and homely mood even despite the constant downpour on Saturday! | Secondhand Child go Postal! First there was a computer game entitled Postal. Based on this, a movie was made. And now, in all splattering glory, Secondhand Child turned this movie into a very strange and very darn good music video for their new track, Going Postal. Watch it here . |
