Good Wednesday morning, dear friend of the hard, the heavy ... and the slow! What were you doing last night? Then let’s make sure that next Wednesday morning will be different: 1) Pÿlon, Tribes of Caïn and Syrach (NOR) are playing a special show on Tuesday, 27 March at the Rock-City.ch in Uster (ZH): The SWISS-NORWEGIAN DOOM-DEATH NIGHT is upon us all! - Syrach (Norway, Doom) are touring Europe with their new album ‘Days of Wrath’. - Pÿlon (CH, Doom) say fare-well to drummer-from-the-beginning, Tinu, and celebrate with special guests on stage! - Tribes of Caïn (CH, Death) interrupt the recordings of their new album to finally play a show in the Zurich area again! Since YOU and the band members will have to go to work or to school the next morning, the doors open at 20:00 and the first band will start the show at 21:00. This way, you will be able to catch the last two trains to Zurich main station if you have to rely on public transportation. – So be there and have your after-work drink at the Rock-City with us and our Norwegian guests! www.pylon-doom.net | |

| Dear fans and friends of Swiss metal, Quam Libet Records have released eight CDs in the past six months … in fact, 15 albums came out in 2006 on this label altogether! More and more of our releases are now regularly being reviewed by webzines around the world and even the big German print magazines such as Rock Hard and Metal Hammer pass their judgment on them, which is very important for us and for the bands. Sales-wise, two of these albums have proved particularly attractive and we thank you for your support:  - Pÿlon: Th’ Eternal Wedding BandOne for the doomsters and friends of early Black Sabbath out there.  - Battalion: The Fight For MetalFirst-class old-school heavy metal. In fact, had this album been released by a band like Running Wild in 1985 – it would have become an enormous hit. | 1) TEMPESTA: Touring Europe with Circle II Circle and Savage Circus in April! Since Jorn Lande had to cancel his tour for which TEMPESTA were scheduled as opening act, a new tour was found to present Fulltime Joker throughout Europe: Circle II Circle (USA) Savage Circus (GER, feat. Thommen Stauch – ex-Blind Guardian!) Tomorrow’s Eve (GER) The tour will take them through Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain and The Netherlands. | 2) MABON: Getting ready to burn down St. Gallen with Ektomorf. After winning the Music Acts Contest which allowed MABON to open the renowned Openair Frauenfeld in the past summer, the band now won the Anker-Trophy, allowing them to travel to Sweden and play there! After their concerts in January (Switzerland, France) with Paul Di’Anno, the original Maiden vocalist, EVER SINCE are getting ready for concerts with the Eric Singer Project, featuring current and ex members of Alice Cooper, KISS, Grand Funk Railroad, Mötley Crüe! On 23.03.07, these two bands will warm up at La Croix Bleue in La Chaux de Fonds so as to be hot and ready for their show in London together, two days later. The last gig of the “Wedding Band” line-up has just become more deadly: Tribes of Caïn will play their first concert in the Zurich area since about half a year when they co-support the mighty Norwegian doomsters Syrach. Syrach are touring Europe with their new album, Days of Wrath. Their only Swiss stop is at the Rock-City.ch. This will be a Swiss-Norwegian Doom-Death night you should not miss! | 1) Heaven and hell! Ever Since have a new album and will tour with ex Maiden singer! But let me tell you things one by one: Ever Since provided one of the stand-out tracks on HEAVY METAL NATION III, “Something Of You”. Now the whole album Between Heaven And Hell is here, distributed by Non Stop Music in Switzerland and by twilight Vertrieb (worldwide). The band delivers big, fat, modern melodic metal with occasional electronic effects. Three singers (growl, clean, female) and keyboard harmonies excite an emotional adventure as the lyrics tie the whole album together. The production was done at Fredman Studio, Sweden. January 2007 will not be the first time Ever Since will tour with Paul Di’Anno on the “Beast is Back” tour, also coming through Switzerland and France. We are honoured to work with Ever Since! Well, Snook got him to sing on their brand sparklin’ new album, Blessed With Rock N Roll. … Ok, it may not be Lemmy himself, but you really won’t hear the difference once Stutz delivers the goods. | 3) Pÿlon Matt, Tinu and Jan will rock only two more times before Tinu (dr, v) leaves the band. We’d love to see you around at these shows:  13.01.07 - Dynamo / werk21 , Zürich. This is the ideal gig for those who rely on public transportation: the werk21 is merely a five minutes’ walk from the Zürich main station. By God, even Candlemass had played there! Six bands, two new albums – and Excruciation will let it rrrrrip! (On Wednesday before this show, Majesty of silence play the werk21 with a free show.) 27.03.07 - Rock-City , Uster. This is the ideal gig for those who are a bit more mobile and who want to hear some more songs off Th’ Eternal Wedding Band during a longer Pÿlon set. Plus, we’ll have special guests on-stage with us! And, hey, the Norwegian doomsters Syrach aren’t touring Europe every year! (All the door money will go to Syrach, so join us and help them survive the tour.) Obviously, when these two shows are done, Jan and Matt will continue with Pÿlon. But a drummer will be needed. If you know or are such a species of musician, you are most welcome to get in contact . – Perhaps you’d like to watch us at the werk21 first so you know what type of lads we pretend to be. It will be somewhere in time (2007) that we will decide when we’ll start to look around for compilation bands again. In any case, there will be a newsletter to let all of you know when to start sending us your CDs for a possible participation. Sampler Rockstation and Kanal K solidify their co-operation. Starting 13.01.07, the first shows will air. Currently, 784itch’ video “Foolin’ The Crowd” is featured as the video of the week!
